About Felicia O’Gorman

Felicia has been working with children and youth for over 20 years in a variety of disciplines, including coach, educator, and therapist.  Working with young people is her passion!  Her welcoming and accepting approach puts children and youth at ease, and allows for the development of a trusting relationship. This acceptance extends to parents, who she works with to create collaborative relationships that focus on meeting the child’s needs, while building on parenting skills and the parent-child relationship.
Felicia has a Masters degree in Counselling from the University of Calgary, and is a Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.  She has extensive training in trauma related interventions, attachment and relationship challenges, behavioural and emotional difficulties, as well as parenting approaches, and offers a variety of modalities to best meet the needs of clients.
In her spare time, Felicia can be found hanging out with her family, enjoying outdoor pursuits such as biking, hiking, skiing, and soccer.  She also enjoys less strenuous activities like reading, singing, and playing guitar.
